Hi, I’m Jan — a photographer based in Eindhoven.

It started with an old Canon DSLR, a gift that got me pointing a camera at travel scenes just to see what I could capture. A set of lens filters pushed me further, first into landscapes, then into cityscapes, architecture, and events — Eindhoven, mostly.

What I’m really chasing is light — golden hour, blue hour, or whatever makes an ordinary scene stop being ordinary. I’ve been doing this professionally for years now, and that hasn’t gotten old.

What I photograph

Most of my work is around Eindhoven: the skyline and its towers, the former Philips factory district of Strijp-S, the Eindhovensch Kanaal, and the city’s big events like GLOW and Carnaval. When I travel, I bring the same eye along — see the portfolio for all of it, from Eindhoven and events to the changing seasons and travel further from home.
